Using the system from New Wave Research Inc. our laser trimming systems can be used at 266, 355, 532 and 1064nm for a variety of applications such as : Engineering failure analysis, Resistor trimming, Repair of MEMS devices and repair and removal of contaminants in flat panel arrays. We have built manual and automated systems for this. For failure analysis: it is available in 3 wavelengths 355,532 and 1064nm 355 is for passivation removal. 532 is for general ablation and 1064 is for metallization trimming. A built in adjustable iris controls the size and shape of the cut and a polarizer controls the output power.
